Tennessee Considers Releasing Names of Psychiatric Patients in Gun Control Debate

Tennessee is among five states that are considering an important issue in the gun control debate: releasing the names of those undergoing psychiatric treatment, so they cannot own or purchase a gun.  Other states considering this are Hawaii, New York, Virginia and Maryland.

While psychiatrists are opposed to this, there is far too great a danger in these people — more than likely on a cocktail of psychiatric medication —  having guns.
